Currently, he is Senior Clinical Fellow in Pediatric Liver Transplant at King’s College Hospital. He is a member of the following: the European Board of Transplant Surgeons; the European Board of Pediatric Surgeons; American Society of Transplant Surgeons; British Association of Pediatric Surgeons; Royal College of Surgeons Liver Transplant; Royal College of Surgeons; International Liver Transplant Society; British Transplant Society; Pediatric Surgical Council; Pediatric Council; and the Mexican Society of Transplantation. Nigel Heaton is Head of Liver Transplantation at King’s College Hospital NHSFT, and previously the Clinical Academic Co-Lead for Liver, Renal, Urology, GI Medicine and Surgery and Transplantation within King’s Health Partners, the Academic Health Centre serving South London.
