Overview

This manual reflects the main content of the course ""Pedagogy."" Based on the requirements of this document, the following broad didactic units (sections) are highlighted in the structure of the course content: the development of education, schools, and pedagogical thought in human history; theoretical and methodological foundations of pedagogy; theory and practice of the holistic pedagogical process; management of the holistic pedagogical process. The role and significance of this academic subject in the training of competitive personnel is also determined by the fact that ""Pedagogy"" is closely related to the content of continuous pedagogical practice in schools and the directions of elective specialized courses. The manual is written in accordance with the state educational standard of higher professional education of the Republic of Kazakhstan. It is intended for students of pedagogical specialties of universities, as well as teachers of higher education and secondary general and vocational educational institutions.
