Overview

Pearl is a girly girl with a big imagination. Today is extra special because it's Pearl's first day taking ballet. Ballet class is fun, until Pearl can't follow along and fears she's doing it all wrong. Pearl is about to give up when she learns each dancer is unique in their own way, like a unicorn, as Miss Victoria would say. Ballet is beautiful when you can be yourself! This book is a sparkly and magical adventure through the eyes of a spirited little ballerina. Enjoy the glossary of ballet terms, which also doubles as a lesson plan for ballet teachers. As a teacher myself, I am always looking for new ideas. There is also an interactive fingerprint craft and coloring pages in the back of the book for kids of all ages to use their creativity!
