Peace is my third coloring book journal. As in my previous books, Love and Joy , all of the designs are hand-drawn originals designed to bring you into a meditative and creative process as you color each of them. Opposite each design is a short quote about peace. As you begin to color the art, settle yourself down until you reach that calm, peaceful, relaxed state where you can enjoy a brief journey to that quiet place that is within each of our spirits. Keep a pen handy, read the quote before you begin to color and, as you color, write down any thoughts that drift into your mind.

Author Information

Nora Puls has been an artist nearly all of her life. She was blessed with a creative gene, and, growing up in Hawaii, spent most of her time as a child and youth drawing, painting, reading and playing the piano. Nora taught herself how to create art through the medium of pen and ink and has done many portraits in this style for the families of military personnel who were killed in action. These are very specialized, detailed portraits and are given as gifts to pay tribute to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice. She sells commissioned drawings and mixed media canvases. She also has created one-of-a-kind Christmas cards almost every year since 1999. In addition, Nora works in watercolors, acrylic paints and ceramics. Most recently, she has experimented in mixed media art with great results. Each features 20 original drawings, as well as space for journaling. Not only does she love art, she is passionate about using it to benefit others, including those who suffering from loneliness and depression, and those who have cognitive or physical challenges. She shares this passion as the creative artist behind the Art to Wellness program and Painting With Mom group classes, both of which are done in partnership with BlueSea Care Services. Nora has been married for 45 years, has 4 married adult children and 12 grandchildren.
