Author Information

Matthew K. Manning is a comic book writer, historian, and fan. Over the course of his career, he's written hundreds of comics and prose books including the crossover Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures, Marvel Action: Avengers, Teen Titans Go!, Looney Tunes, Spider-Man Unlimited and recent runs on the Dick Tracy syndicated comic strip. For Andrews McMeel, he has written The Batman Files and The Superman Files, two comprehensive ""scrapbook"" style histories of the famous icons. He's also written several series of children's books, including Xander and the Rainbow-Barfing Unicorns. Conor Boyle is an artist whose work includes Judge Dredd: Mega-City 2099 from 2000 AD, Black Sight from Dark Horse, Deathstalker with Slash from Guns N' Roses and Vault Comics, Hook Jaw from Titan Comics, Heavy Metal magazine, and more. He lives in Somerset, UK, among the wizards, dragons and cider.
