Jason Cochran was awarded Guide Book of the Year by the North American Travel Journalists Association for Pauline Frommer's London. He also wrote Pauline Frommer's San Francisco. He is a regular writer for the New York Post, AOL's WalletPop.com, and Travel + Leisure.com. He has written extensively for publications including Budget Travel (as senior editor); Entertainment Weekly; the New York Daily News and Times; Travel + Leisure and T+L Family; Newsweek; City; Frommers.com; the South Florida Sun-Sentinel; Arena (U.K.); Who (Australia); Scanorama and Seasons (Sweden). He has been an arts columnist for both Inside.com (late night TV) and Sidewalk.com (theater). His writing has been awarded the Golden Pen by the Croatian government and was selected to appear in a permanent exhibit in the National Museum of Australia. He devised questions for the first American season of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire (ABC) and before that, spent nearly two years backpacking solo around the world.
