She is currently the vice president of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace for scientific and academic affairs. Her research interest is currently in Energy Conversion and Energy Storage. The main objective of Dr. El Zein research is to develop an eco- green Solar Cells with high efficiency and long durability. In addition, she is exploring new materials such as kesterite, perovskite, and protein to be used as a light absorber for Solid State Sensitized Solar Cells. Earlier, he was president of the Arab Parliament from 2012 to 2016, member of the Federal National Council of the UAE from 2011 to 2018, member of the board of directors of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry from 2008 to 2012, and founder and manager of Sharjah Old Cars Club and Museum from 2007 to 2012. Mr. Al Jarwan played a significant role in tolerance, peace and rela- tionship with the United Nations, UNESCO and the Arab League. He was a key player and essential participant in all activities of international organizations and in national and international parliamentarians' meetings, receiving great recognition from dignitaries worldwide. He earned the 2020 Mahatma Gandhi International Award and has been recognized by the leaders of such countries as Russia, Colombia, Argentina, Albania, Kosovo, Dji- bouti, Comoros and Lebanon for his achievements regarding human rights, tolerance, peace, sustainable development, and women and youth rights.
