He attended the University of Manitoba and graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.) degree in 1981 and received his CPA, CGA designation in 1988. In 2002, he began a twelve-year career with the Winnipeg Football Club, serving in a number of capacities, including vice president of finance and chief operating officer. He has also applied his leadership skills at Siloam Mission and currently at the CCMBC Legacy Fund. Jim takes an active role in his church, participating on several boards and presently serving as a Life Group coach and leader. He enjoys reading, golfing, walking, studying scripture, and sharing meals with family and friends. Jim and his wife, Helen, have three grown children and five grandsons.
