Dr Karthik Natarajan is presently serving as Professor of Cardiology at U N Mehta Institute of Cardiology and Research Centre. He obtained his MBBS and MD(Medicine) from Smt NHL Municipal Medical College, Gujarat University. He obtained his DM(Cardiology) degree from U N Mehta Institute of Cardiology and Research Centre. He has been serving at the institute for the past 7 years. He has vast experience in performing complex coronary interventions. His particular interest lies in LMCA Bifurcations, CHIP interventions, CTO PCI, TAVI, ASD device closure, PDA device closure and Pacemakers. He has also assisted and performed multiple peripheral and carotid interventions. He has performed more than 1000 PCIs and more than 5000 coronary angiographies. He has multiple research publications in national and international journals. He has been involved as a course coordinator and been invited as guest faculty at several national Interventional conferences. He has a keen interest in Cardiovascular Imaging and is an integral part of the transplant program at UN Mehta Institute. He also won the best case presenter award at IJCTO 2023.
