Although born in Georgetown, SC, he grew up and wrestled during the 70's and 80's in the hotbed of wrestling; Waterloo, Iowa. He then went on to wrestle collegiately at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. He is in his 14th year as a special education teacher/ head coach. While coaching in TN, SC, and IA, his programs have generated 13 state place winners, 5 state champions, 4 NHSCA All-Americans, one USA Wrestling All- American and one NHSCA National Champion. His goal is to use the gift's God gave him to help change lives through motivation, encouragement, and support.
