Author Information

Peter Berry was diagnosed with young-onset Alzheimer’s at the age of fifty and, with a life expectancy of eight to ten years, set about proving that it is possible to live well with the condition. Now aged sixty-one, Peter is married with a daughter and remains a keen cyclist, still riding his penny-farthing. Deb Bunt is the author of Peter’s first book, Slow Puncture: Living Well with Dementia. She and her husband took early retirement and moved from London to Suffolk in 2018. During this time, Deb has acquired one broken shoulder, five grandchildren, and six bicycles. She has also made a wonderful friend in Peter, who has transformed her life.
