Reviews

"""Travel literature, social commentary, and political commentary all in one. Alternately tragic, humorous, and discerning, [Pastoral in Palestine] reveals as much about life in the Occupied Territories of the West Bank as it does the author. The author's fondness for literary allusions, apt comparisons to life in inner cities in North America, and insightful observations are riveting. . . . Though a slender volume, with photographs he himself took and a few from the Internet, it is weighty in its effect. . . . Regardless of one's views, this book inspires conversation.""-- ""World Literature Today"" (4/18/2014 12:00:00 AM)"
