She is editor of the Studies in Central European Culture book series, coeditor of Women in German Yearbook 2010-2014, and has numerous publications on contemporary Austrian literature. Gabriele Petricek lives in Vienna, and has been a writer-in residence in the United States, Great Britain, and Italy. She is a member of PODIUM, co-founder of the Austrian-American Podium Dialog and founder of LITERATUR AM STEG, Vienna.
