Author Information

Craig Buck was first licensed as an amateur radio operator in the mid-sixties. Today, he holds an Amateur Extra Class Radio license. Buck, as he is known on the air, is an active instructor and a Volunteer Examiner and has successfully led many students through this material. Buck's ham accomplishments include being named Elmer (Trainer) of the year by the Rappahannock Valley Amateur Radio club three times. He also holds a position on the prestigious ARRL Honor Roll for having confirmed contacts with 335 of the 339 recognized amateur radio countries.
