Told with at times wry humor, the book includes wartime experiences in Vietnam during the Vietnam War from the perspective of an Australian infantry soldier who then returns to Australia to face ostracism and rejection from his own country.

Author Information

John is an Australian who has been living in Hong Kong for most of the last 18 years. A Vietnam War veteran and PTSD sufferer, he has been writing seriously for the past three years. John has written two other novels and has also written several short stories and poems. Apart from his writing John is involved in onstage live theater. He designs and builds websites and is involved in the rescue and care of injured and/or abandoned animals. John is a graduate (BSocSc) of Edith Cowan University in Perth, Western Australia.
