A Vietnam War veteran and PTSD sufferer, he has been writing seriously for the past three years. John has written two other novels and has also written several short stories and poems. Apart from his writing John is involved in onstage live theater. He designs and builds websites and is involved in the rescue and care of injured and/or abandoned animals.
