Billy Goldfeder, EFO, has been a firefighter since 1973, achief officer since 1982, and is a deputy chief of the Loveland-Symmes Fire Department (OH), USA. He is an active member of the board of directors of the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation, the September 11th FamiliesAssociation, and the International Association of Fire Chiefs. Billy is an associate/contributing editor of Fire Engineering magazine and a board member and FDIC instructor formore than 30 years.
