This study investigates school-family collaboration with an emphasis on early childhood education and the challenges involved in working with immigrant families of bilingual children. Various forms of collaboration are explored, along with factors that influence its effectiveness and its critical role in kindergarten settings.A key focus is the relationship between immigrant parents and schools, examining both obstacles and efforts to promote meaningful engagement. The perceptions and expectations of parents and teachers are analyzed, highlighting the importance of mutual understanding and communication. Attention is also given to teacher training in bilingual and intercultural education, within the framework of Greek educational policy.The final section presents original research, including objectives, sample, methodology, and analysis.
