OverviewIt is actuality that indigenous and tribal communities are presenting high expectation and a lot of resistance in regards to exploration projects. Main issue is the sharing of benefits retrieved within the extractive industry. This issue could maybe linked to their level of participation in the decision-making process. Facilitation is a worldwide approach that has to be dugout to see if it could add value to the negative feeling that the tribal communities have when investors engage them. These communities are not supportive towards the proposed projects of the investors. The local communities also declare that these investors disrespect their land rights and getting away with their natural resources. The objective of this dissertation is to develop tools to stir and ensure that facilitation adds value towards participation and clarification of stakeholders' impact and responsibility on decision-making structures.
