OverviewThis work presents an initial analysis of part-time employment contracts, which is a modality that is increasingly in use in our country, addressing the national legal system that regulates this issue. In addition, a mainly doctrinal analysis is made of the way in which this form of contracting work has been regulated in other legislations, both in Latin America and in Spain, and its regulation is also presented in the international conventions of the ILO, specifically Convention No. 175, sources of law which in their analysis are linked to national legislation and Nicaraguan jurisprudence, to finally propose the way in which part-time work should be regulated as a mechanism to contribute to the promotion of employment in Nicaragua.
