Author Information

Daniela D'Eugenio is an assistant professor of Italian at the University of Arkansas. She completed her PhD at the City University of New York. Previously, she worked for the Proverbi italiani database at the Accademia della Crusca (Florence, Italy). D'Eugenio's research interests focus primarily on the study of proverbs in the context of Renaissance and Baroque literature, paleography, irony and humor, and pedagogical approaches in the foreign language classroom.
