Author Information

Robyn Cotton grew up in South Taranaki and studied at Massey University, before embarking on her ""O.E."" to the UK. Settling back in NZ, she enjoyed a career in the dairy industry before becoming a management consultant and director. Inspired by her own experiences, she explored her interest in creative writing and launched her first novel A Skylark Flies. She followed up with her second book Mary & Me, also based on personal experience. Her third book The Jibe is the first mystery story in her series The Hauraki Gulf Mystery Series that features detectives Frank Smythe and Anahera Raupara. The Boat Shed is the second book in this series.She now enjoys life on the Hibiscus Coast with her husband, where they indulge their love of sailing while exploring the beautiful Hauraki Gulf.Robyn is a Christian living with Parkinson's disease and likes nothing more than spending quality time with family and friends. Her other interests include photography, travel, various sports and exploring Aotearoa New Zealand's natural environment.
