Table of ContentsReviewsParenting ADHD with Wisdom and Grace is a refreshing guide for parents navigating the often anxiety provoking terrain of modern life as it intersects with ADHD. As parents we may find ourselves overwhelmed with emotions in responding to our children's challenges in the context of so many daily demands. I deeply appreciated Chapter 3 and the discussion about Parent's identifying and relying on our own values to support and influence our children managing ADHD. Dr. Taylor reminds us that while expressing and understanding emotion is valuable we must balance emotional response by allowing our values to lead us in making and modeling effective decisions and behaviors. I believe that this book will be a useful tool as parents prepare to support and advocate for their children in family, school, and community settings. --Crystal McComas, LSCSW Parenting a child with ADHD can be overwhelming and exhausting at times.
