OverviewEuropean Public Prosecutor's Office, EPPO is a new institution in the supranational organization of the European Union, and Romania is the country that gave the first European chief prosecutor, in the person of Laura Codruța Kövesi. Professor PhD Vasile Pavaleanu is currently teaching at university, but in his practical activity he was the first prosecutor of the Prosecutor's Office near the Suceava Tribunal.
