Overview

In 1942, as the Japanese invade the Solomon Islands, young trader Tom Scott, aged 22, sees his burgeoning commodity trading business at risk. Amidst this chaos, the British Governor and his wife vanish on a flight returning from the western islands. The Governor's aide, desperate, offers Tom a hefty sum to escort the Governor's three daughters to safety in Australia aboard his 120-foot schooner, 'Paradise'. En route, Tom discovers he knows where the Governor's plane might be found.
