He received the B.S. degree in the department of Ceramic Engineering at Yonsei University, Seoul, South Korea, in 1997. He received the Ph.D from same department in 2004. He specialized in MEMS/Nanomechanics from 1999 to 2005 at Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST) in Seoul, South Korea. Before joining Kwangwoon University in Sep 2008, he was a Postdoctoral Associate at RLE and EECS, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), USA (2005 to 2008). His current main research is the development of simple and powerful POCT and diagnostic systems based on the integration of electronics and fluidics. He published 85+ papers and +40 patents.
