Geoff Newton graduated from the University of Sunderland, England in 1979 with a pharmacy degree. He has practiced as a community pharmacist for over forty years, in England, the U.S., and Canada. He is an award-winning speaker, contributing to discourse on mental health and addiction. He appeared on CHCH TV in 2015 as the Hamilton spokesperson for the Ontario Pharmacists Association, and was a guest on Bill Kelly Radio 900 CHML in 2015, discussing flu shots. Geoff is a contributing writer to Medium.com, where he has published numerous essays. He has also published poetry in Poetic Voices of America, Summer 1998. In his spare time, he enjoys nature walking, meditation, tennis, golf, swimming, and dining out. He lives in Hamilton, Ontario.
