Pandemic Impact on Healthcare Workers

Overview

Dive into a comprehensive study exploring the intricate relationship between workplace incivility, psychological distress, and work-life balance among healthcare employees. With a sample size of 110 participants, this research delves into the moderating effects of gender, role in healthcare, and generation, while also considering the impact of the rare extraneous variable-the COVID-19 pandemic. Correlational analysis revealed intriguing findings, challenging initial expectations. Contrary to assumptions, no positive relationship was identified between workplace incivility and psychological distress, nor between workplace incivility and lack of work-life balance. Moreover, the study did not uncover statistically significant relationships when gender, role in healthcare, and generation served as moderating variables.
