Author Information

Hassan Abbas served as subdivisional police chief in Pakistan's North-West Frontier Province from 1996 to 1998 and was the deputy director of investigations in Pakistan's National Accountability Bureau from 1999 to 2000. Currently, he is a fellow at Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government and is the author of Pakistan's Drift into Extremism: Allah, the Army and America's War on Terror (M.E. Sharpe, 2004).
