Sap Ji Kyun (十字拳) is a fundamental set in Pak Mei Kung Fu. Symbolically, it translates to The Cross Pattern Set. Passed down from the Wanderers' Clan, a loosely-formed group of martial itinerants in Southern China, the tactics and techniques in Sap Ji Kyun are direct and practical. Simultaneous grabbing and striking, a variety of elbow methods, and stealthy kicks form the foundation of this routine. It is a set that is both simple and sophisticated depending on the time and effort dedicated to its understanding. Williy Pang has been an active educator of Pak Mei Kung Fu and Chinese martial arts since 1994. He is the author of numerous articles and several groundbreaking books on Pak Mei Kung Fu following his demonstration of Sap Ji Kyun in 1995 on ESPY-TV's White Eyebrow Kung Fu.
