Author Information

Sharon has been painting since 1970. Her work has been featured in many galleries in the southwest. In 1978 opened the Shining Feather Art Academy for Women and continued teaching hundreds of students until 2003. She is the holder of many awards including Best of Show and People's Choice She was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah and was married at a young age to her high school sweetheart. She is the mother of two sons James and John and one daughter Teal. She has always loved the southwest and everything connected to it and has traveled to most of the Indian Ruins in the four corners area. She is a Christian and believes that God gives us all a gift, hers being painting and teaching. She is the author of over 10 books on how to paint various subjects.
