Pain & Other Inheritances

Overview

Pain & Other Inheritances is a collection that is a fierce, unflinching exploration of living with endometriosis in a culture and world that often refuses to see it. Gurpreet Kaur chronicles her journey through relentless pain, medical dismissal, and personal trauma, transforming suffering into testimony, defiance, and reclamation. These poems are a reckoning--dark, lyrical, and seductive--mapping survival, endurance, and the ultimate forging of a self that refuses erasure.
