OverviewPOSP is a way of profiling the orla skills development of children who have oral function difficulty. Based on the work of five practising speacialist speech and language therapists, it aims to help the clinician assess children aged from 0-16 years, to monitor change in oral function over time, and to act as a teaching aid in the area of oral d=skills. It can be used to assess children with a wide range of diagnoses, including cerebral palsy, other neuromuscular disorders affecting oral function, both developmental and acquired, and orofacial anolmalies.
