Jack Nadin is a former miner with a great interest in both the history of mining and local history. He is the author of several books, including Burnley Cotton Mills and East Lancashire Mining Memories. Duncan Armstrong is an architect with a keen interest in old buildings. He currently owns over 1,000 photographs of old Padiham.
