Four years later he completed the journey... and lived to tell about it. This is that story, along with scores of historical tid-bits relating to the history, lore and current Sugar Creek state of affairs as well as tips for those persons planning a silmilar or more sensible paddling adventure. Within you will find a unique hybred of humor and historical fact and conjecture. Author Information

Dick Munro had spent 40+ years in Radio and upon retirement began writing a Newspaper Column wherein he continued his one-on-one, conversational delivery on subjects of a random nature. Never realizing a project such as this should not be undertaken by anyone over 70 years of age, he none the less conned younger members of his family into joining in the adventure.... knowing full well they too would one day relish the memory.
