OverviewAt the end of the season, a young otter named Ozzie realizes most of all the other otters have moved on. Living down by the riverbed with his mom, he sees squirrels playing with each other, hummingbirds playing together, and more groups of animals playing. He finds himself lonely, with no one to play with, and asks his mom about finding a friend of his own somewhere near the riverbank. She encourages him to go, as long as he is home by the days end. As he begins his journey to find a friend to play with, he wonders who could it be? Where will I find them? Will I be able to find someone at all? An adventure seeking friendship told in rhyme with animal characters and a surprise ending, is a great addition to any child's book shelf.
