Overview

Shaprour grows up under the shadow of the gods playing with the lives of men. His uncle dictates how he should live, his mother is absence and his father is basically a prisoner in Linyee's Fortress. Frustrated by all of it he makes a journey with a friend and cousin discovering Quinla on the way. Quinla has been bought up by the Sanctuary of the Gentle Lady and knows she is special. Not only is she able to speak with the pygmy sand dragons but with just a touch she can tell what is wrong with a person. She expects to become a great healer until the Sanctuary is raided and the dragon goddess of the moon speaks with her and tells her she has another path she can take.
