Author Information

Hannah Thompson has been teaching French language and literature to undergraduate students for 20 years. She is particularly interested in the nineteenth and twentieth-century French novel and how literature reflects and comments on modern French society. She has published three academic books and more than 20 articles on novelists including Émile Zola, Gustave Flaubert and George Sand and is currently working at the intersection between French literature and critical disability studies.
