Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationRené Koglbauer is currently Senior Lecturer in the School of Education, Communication and Language Sciences at Newcastle University, where he also heads up the North Leadership Centre and Network for Languages North East. Prior to this, René taught languages in various schools and institutions in the UK, Austria, Hungary, Slovenia and Russia. He has many passions in language pedagogy, including using literature and authentic resources in the classroom, and has been involved in a number of educational publishing projects. René has also been actively involved in the development of language policy nationally and internationally and is a former president of the Association for Language Learning (ALL). He is currently ALL's chair of board of trustees. In 2017, René was awarded Senior Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy. Janine has taught German, French and Spanish for 37 years in nursery, primary, comprehensive, grammar and independent schools throughout the UK.
