Chiao is the Director of the International Cultural Neuroscience Consortium. She received her Ph.D. in Psychology from Harvard University and B.S. in Symbolic Systems from Stanford University. She is on the editorial board of several journals and is a recipient of grant funding. She is a Fellow of the Association for Psychological Science and Society for Personality and Social Psychology. Dr. Shu-Chen Li is Professor and Chair of Lifespan Developmental Neuroscience in the Department of Psychology at Technische Univesitat Dresden. She received her Ph.D. in Psychology from University of Oklahoma. She is on the editorial board of several journals and receives grant funding. She has previously served as a Senior Research Scientist at the Max Planck Institute. Dr. Robert Turner is a Director Emeritus of Department of Neurophysics at the Max Planck Institute and an Honorary Professor at the University of Nottingham. He received a B.A. in Mathematics and Physics and a M.A. in Social Anthropology at University College London. He received a Ph.D. in Physics at Simon Fraser University.
