Author Information

Jeffrey M. Welch is an Adjunct Professor of Education at Brandman University and a Middle School history teacher. He has taught face-to-face, hybrid, and online college courses in educational technology and history/social-studies methodologies since 2007. He has also taught history, government, photography, and digital video production at the middle school and high school level since 2000. He lives in Central California with his wife Kathryn, an elementary special education teacher. He has a Master of Arts, in History, from California State University, Stanislaus, a Bachelor of Arts, in History, from Westmont College, and a secondary teaching credential from Chapman University. He has been successful as both a teacher and as a student in classes taught in person, in hybrid formats, and fully online. His research interests are in educational technology, history, economics, entrepreneurship, social media, and learning methodologies.
