A disillusioned detective takes one last case that leads to a face from his past - and a deadly secret... Detective Inspector Mike Rowe is on enforced leave after a run-in with his superiors. As a compromise, he is asked to take one last case: a dead body in a cell at a soon-to-be-closed station. At first, Rowe isn't interested - until he hears his estranged girlfriend Laura might be involved. He arrives at the scene only to find that shadowy figures from Scotland Yard have assumed control. Sensing foul play and deciding to investigate, Rowe's efforts are suddenly shut down. Then people connected to the scene start turning up dead. As Rowe becomes increasingly isolated, a shocking name from his past makes contact. The mystery starts to unravel. But is the answer closer to home than he thought?
