Overview

It has finally come to pass. This much-awaited book is an amalgamation of numerous accounts of the outrageous pursuits I claim to have experienced throughout my exciting life. The immediate responses of friends and expatriates upon hearing my verbal accounts of just some vivid affairs was that 'you should write a book.' Well, here it is - my autobiography in detail. Recently, I published another book about the past 600 years of my family, The Fletchers of Allerton Manor, which received an unsolicited response from Tina Bailey in Verbier, on 9 Nov 2021. 'It was a fascinating account of your family history featuring mainly your great uncle. I have not read another book as factually detailed as yours, and so well written. Your ancestors were certainly talented and successful, and I detect you possess that element of determination which you can see in W.A.L. Fletcher.'
