That's a special quality.'? -- Mike Moore, Editor of Ohio Outdoor News ""This book is a gem collection of well-spun vignettes. And no, you don't have to be from, or sitting in, northeastern Ohio to understand and appreciate them. You just have to respect the craft. Sort of like reading E.B. White's meditations from Maine, that put you in that place a bit, but more importantly, lifted you out of the monotony of daily routine. That's tall praise, I know, but give this book a try to see what I mean.""-K.Deeter ""One gift that will serve as a salve during those long, dark, and often bone-chilling months of winter is a good book that offers adventure and exploration in a vicarious mode.A leader in that parade is ""Outdoor Tales of Northeast Ohio'? by Andrew Pegman, a professor of English at Cuyahoga Community College who found fertile story-telling turf near his home. With Lake Erie, the rivers and streams of the northeast quadrant, Cuyahoga Valley National Park, and the extensive Metroparks system, Pegman sends the reader on a variety of journeys into the natural world that surrounds us.'? -- Matt Markey, The Toledo Blade.
