Gamal Abdel-Shehid is an associate professor in the School of Kinesiology and Health Sciences at York University. He is the author of Who Da Man: Black Masculinities and Sporting Cultures. Nathan Kalman-Lamb is a PhD candidate in social and political thought at York University, where he focuses on labour, race and gender in sport.
