Overview
We have been on the road for twenty years. This is our second larger motor home. Today we live in a 2000 Monaco Diplomat thirty eight and half feet with two slides. We have covered all the lower 49 states, most of Canada and Alaska. We parked the coach and flew to Hawaii, so we have visited all fifty states. We are sharing our wonderful life and some of the discoveries for those who RV or want to try the RV life. It is not a story of our lives, but information we have picked up in the 20 years full time. Most of what we know has been learned trial and error some of it from others who had already blazed the trail. We have spent time in the desert boon docking and driven all night. We have been stuck in traffic jams and shared our toilet facilities with strangers. Life had been good to us, we both love the closeness of the coach and the idea that our front yard is many times the open road. We can change states and still sleep in the same bed and have breakfast across the same table. For us it has been a wonderful life. it is not for everyone, but for those who are gypsies at heart is is the best life.

Author Information
The author has served honorably in the USMC, USAF and the USN. He retired from the USN where his last assignment was teaching Naval Intelligence Processing. He is a Licensed General Contractor, a professional chalk artist and story teller. He and his wife have appeared from Cuba to Canada. They have entertained audiences of thousands and groups of three or four. Together they have appeared and taught at Youth Camps, seniors groups, churches and BSA functions. After hundreds of original stories he has put some of his ideas on paper. He and his wife, Sherry, in their late 60's early 70's, took a break from traveling in the motor home and hiked 1850 miles on the Appalachian Trail. This hike lead from Georgia and ending for them at Franconia Gap in New Hampshire. Leg injuries prevented completing the final 300 miles. Since then they have returned to the Trail. They still hope to finish, a little at a time. He and his wife still travel full time in their motor home where he now writes the stories he has told over the years and some of the ones he has dreamed. Life to them has always been an adventure. That odyssey has lasted for over sixty years. Reaching over 20 countries and all 50 states. Jack and Sherry are best friends and lovers.
