Our Journey to a God Centered Marriage- a love story Darlene and I met in October 1980 when we were Darlene and I met in October 1980 when we were both in the army. We were attracted to each other but for different reasons. By the end of the first week, we were becoming friends, soon, we knew our relationship had a very special and very different purpose. Darlene had a very strong spiritual relationship with God while my life had turned me relationship with God while my life had turned me bitter, suspicious, and angry, and I had turned my back on God. Our friends all told us the relationship would never last. But God had a different plan. We share the story of how God guided us through the challenges we faced and helped us grow spiritually to the point that God became the spiritually to the point that God became the permanent and loving third party in our marriage.
