Overview

Our Galaxy in Extreme Jeopardy is a science fiction fantasy depicting the challenge of cosmologists in the USA and Nigeria collaborating to discover a second black hole on the periphery of our Milky Way Galaxy. Resonance interactions between the extreme event horizon tailings of the new black hole and the central black hole are determined to cause widespread epidemic illness which is considered a national security issue by both the FBI and CDC. The reader experiences the dismay of disease control experts and the dedication of physicists in solving the problem and in directing the solution. The author, Norman C Reynolds Jr MD, is an academic neurologist who is portrayed as Br. Spike Jonas in the story. Illustrations are provided by The Skrauss.
