It produces two lines of beer: Otter Creek Craft Ales and Wolaver's Certified Organic Ales. The company began in March 1991, selling its first keg of Copper Ale. In 1994 it outgrew its original site and moved to a new brewery down the road. By 1998, Otter Creek began producing Wolaver's Certified Organic Ales in partnership with the Panorama Brewing Company. In May 2002 the Wolaver family purchased Otter Creek Brewing, which remains a family owned Vermont company and produces all of Otter Creek and Wolaver's brands for distribution. Wolavers was originally a beer marketing company in Nevada City, California.
