Brown MS, OTC, is the director of the Orthopaedic Technology Program at Southern Crescent Technical College in Griffin, Georgia. Mr. Brown obtained his bachelor of science from The University of Alabama in 1995 and his master of science from Mississippi State University in 2001. He has been a certified member of the National Association of Orthopaedic Technologist (NAOT) for over 15 years. Prior to his NAOT certification, he was a certified member of the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA). In 1998, he completed his fellowship in athletic training at the Steadman-Hawkins Clinic in Vail, Colorado. After his fellowship, he worked at Emory Sports Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia, where he served as lead orthopaedic technician, head athletic trainer, and founding director of the Emory Sports Medicine Athletic Training Fellowship. Next, he worked at Atlanta Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center, a private clinic that served as team physicians for Atlantas NFL and NHL professional teams. Currently he serves on the board of directors, chairman of Educational Textbook Committee and Georgia State Delegate for the National Association of Orthopaedic Technologist as well as president of the Georgia Association of Orthopaedic Technologist. Frank Radja, OTC, was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. He attended Holy Trinity High School and completed his undergraduate education at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). He graduated from Cook County Hospitals Orthopaedic Technician Training Program in 1979. He served as director of the Orthopaedic Technician Training Program for 23 years. He served on the board of directors of the Orthopaedic Technologists Association of Illinois from 1981 until the present. He has been an active member in the National Association of Orthopaedic Technologists since 1980. In 2002, he was inducted into the Honor Society of the National Association of Orthopaedic Technologists.
