Overview

When thirteen-year-old ""orphaned"" twins Ariel and Kristina Collins suddenly found themselves homeless, they had to decide their next move. Their summer jobs as part-time maids at the Moody Moon Hotel were not able to sustain them. They were kidnapped by an unsavoury character who dumped them on the streets to fend for themselves. However, living on the streets was not an option for this wily pair, and as fate would have it, they ended up being residents of an infamous orphanage of sorts called The Diamond Square. Their frequent bending and breaking of the rules in their new home take the readers on a dizzying adventure that will not soon be forgotten.
